About Me
I am an activist for the Medical Marijuana movement. I also am a Board Member to the Coalition for Medical Marijuana of New Jersey. I am also a Non-qualifying patient here in New Jersey. I suffer from Intractable Chronic Pain due to an accident I had while working for the railroad. I have multiple fusions with titanium cages at levels L5, L4, L3, L2, S1. Also I have the pleasure of having neuropathic pain due to the nerves in my back being damaged from that same R.R. accident. I've also have a condition in my legs brought on by poor circulation. Medical marijuana helps my condition. My plan is to one day get off of half of my prescription pain meds that I've been on for the past 15 years. Opiates are dangerous! Bottom line, I take up to 450 mg of moriphine daily and the State of NJ says that ok ( besides other pain and related meds). ??????? I don't understand why !

About Me

My name is Lynne and I have a son Gerard who suffers from severe medical and surgical refractory epilepsy.  We have tried surgery several times, many different medications and countless other forms of treatment.  He has had allergic reactions to quite a few meds., and we have not found any that have lessened the number of seizures he has each day.  I am in total support of research and awareness for epilepsy and for hopefully finding the answers that are so desperately needed.
